A message from the Dirty River Jam event committee:

I’m sure you’re aware of the ongoing fight for clean and healthy water. For decades, the local folks of Martin county have worked together to Save Our River. One of our biggest fundraisers for awareness and education has been The Dirty River Jam. We’ve hosted three very well attended, successful events in the past.

This year we are going to have Dirty River Jam 4.  If you’re not familiar with the Jam events, let me tell you a little about the fun. We have live music from start to finish…10 hours of local AND national acts. The Kidz Korner will feature a live rock and roll puppet show by Mr. Brian and the Boppets. Arts and Crafts, face painting, and local attractions will fill the air.The Kidz have their own stage where local kids from the Keys will perform their musical talents throughout the day. There are local artists and a variety of vendors, not to mention, a VERY popular dunk tank and much, much more.

This year’s recipient of ALL the money raised is Friends of the Everglades, a 501c3 nonprofit, which accepts tax deductible donations to save our water. This year is critical to our continued success. We have new representation making big strides towards successfully starting the slow process of recovery for our damaged ecosystem.

Can we count on you to help us? Please consider making a generous donation to this important and popular FUN event. You can contact us at 772-209-1040 or at gr**********@gm***.com

Donations of $250 or more that donate BEFORE Sept. 1st will have their name and logo on all printed media, social media, flyers and t-shirts. As well as, shout outs on AM and FM radio spots and shout outs throughout the event.

Donations of $1000 or more will have their name and logo displayed on the main banner over the Kidz Korner area at the Jam, along with the benefit of all of the above.

Donations of $2,500 or more get their name and logo on the Main Stage banner, the Kidz Korner banner and all other public printed material displayed locally throughout Martin county.

Please dig deep and think about how much you and your family enjoy healthy, clean water. Help us ensure its future. Friends of the Everglades works closely with partners and other experts in the Everglades restoration community to compel government agencies to comply with existing environmental laws, and resist efforts to weaken such laws by creating public awareness of the importance of the Everglades to the South Florida ecosystem, and encouraging lawmakers to recognize the consequences of their actions.

With your support we can make our community a safer place for our citizens and a healthier place for the next generation.
