Calusa Waterkeeper’s exclusive documentary, Troubled Waters premiered to a packed house at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater in Fort Myers on Monday, August 5th, 2019. This 40-minute film features expert scientists and doctors as they explore the human health impacts of cyanotoxins and BMAA in South Florida. The sold-out event also featured an extended Q&A session with an all-star panel of expert guests – many of whom were featured in the film.

Tonight, Miami-area residents will have another chance to view the film and speak with an expert panel including Dr. Paul Alan Cox, Dr. Walter Bradley, Dr. Larry Brand, and Dr. David A. Davis.

The human health impact of toxic blooms may not be fully known for years. Florida needs a solution.

The more we learn, the more urgent it becomes to manage them, and the more obvious it becomes that our government isn’t doing enough to protect us.

We look forward to seeing some of you tonight. We’ll keep you updated on further viewing availability in the future.
